Dental radiographs or x-rays are used routinely in dentistry.  Our team will determine which x-rays are required based on your needs.  Although dental x-rays are of low radiation will still want to limit which are taken to spare excess exposure and costs.  A lead apron is used with a thyroid collar to protect the rest of your body from scatter radiation. Red River Dental utilizes digital X-Rays to further reduce radiation exposure during your appointment.

Dental x-rays are one of the most valuable tools we have to assess problems.  With x-rays we can detect small problems before they are noticed visually and become bigger more expensive problems.  A dental exam without x-rays is not very valuable as a lot of problems can be missed with eye sight alone.
